I'm still pissed about the English debut being unreleased
I was so hyped for them to FINALLY release an English album and then SM went a f***ed it up by not letting them tour the US like Interscope wanted
It's the only time I would have tolerated Tiffany as a main vocal. She slayed on Cheap Creeper.
SM got scared and cancelled it. Interscope actually seemed prepared for a full scale debut, but there was nothing they could do once SM made their minds up.
I don't think they'll attempt another US debut with any of their acts now.

I remember early this year there were rumors that SM were still working on the album and that they had got the Japanese debut writers/produces to work on it
Europe would be far more welcoming to an English debut than the USA, the Japanese debuts sound was very European and sounded like everything smashing in Europe around that time
I couldn't see them ever being HUGE but with a great lead single and a lot of promotion the album could of been a hit in Europe

I think SNSD could have a shot in Europe, but being honest, f(x) and 2NE1 suit the market WAY more, especially the UK. I could see both of them slaying.
I mean SNSD promoted in France, but personnellement I thought the hosts on Le Grand Journal were a bit shady. Plus the UK hasn't reacted that positively to the 8 member boy band that is currently on The X Factor, so I don't know. I think it's too late anyway as their power even in Korea has weakened a lot.
If any SM act is going to make it in Europe/UK, it will be f(x). To me they seem the most suited for it.

I agree
2NE1 and f(x) have a much better type of image for Europe, especially the UK
I remember that interview in France they all looked like didn't want to be there
It's a shame that we are probably never getting the English debut
On September 29th SM told me to leave SNSD. As a member of SNSD, I put aside my personal life + business and always put SNSD first but despite my effort SM told me to leave. Last August, SM agreed on my launching my brand and all the members agreed to it but within months members changed their minds and ordered meetings asking me to stop the brand with no understandable reason or to leave SNSD. I told them I couldn't leave BLANC due to it being involved by other business partners as well and that I've been doing my promo as SNSD member very well. Being an SNSD member was a grateful experience and I've never wanted to quit. Being shocked, I met the CEO of SM and talked about my situation, got the permission again for BLANC on September 16th. But on September 29th, SM told me to leave SNSD and I was excluded from the fanmeet that was scheduled the next day, as well as all the other SNSD activities from that day. I've put on so much time and effort into SNSD and my friends and company whom I've worked with 15 years telling me to leave was heartbreaking. Sorry for making you fans concerned, this is not want I wanted. I will always love SNSD and will always do. Thanks for everything
I was given a notice of departure from Girls' Generation by the agency on September 29, and I cannot hide my shocked and upset heart about this, so I'm here to reveal my position.
I have always put Girls' Generation's activities before my business or personal life as a member of Girls' Generation. However, despite my efforts for the team, I have been asked to leave the team by the agency.
While I was planning my business that I've had a lot of interest in since before, I had sufficiently consulted SM as well as the members about my preparation many times and asked for their understanding.
Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC', I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well.
However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason.
I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls' Generation's activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month.
Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unjust for me to have to make a choice. Becoming a Girls' Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I had never thought about quitting.
Shocked about this, I had met with the agency CEO on September 16 to convey my position, and once again confirmed their permission for carrying out my business.
However, on September 29, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls' Generation. Due to this, I was also unable to attend the fan meeting in China on September 30, and I have also been excluded from following Girls' Generation activities.
I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by the agency and fellow members, whom I've spent 15 years with putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation just because of the reason that I'm starting a business.
I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and loving me.
