And yeah, Gaga's choices have been stupid this era, so I agree with you on that one.

Both Poker Face and Just Dance are over the 6 million sales mark, and Bad Romance is near (if not over) 5 million. Her singles last era (besides BR) didn't sell as much as BR, but you can tell they had an impact - something I can't say about any song off BTW.

And trust me when all Interscope are after is making money.
And just for your information, I use "common sense" as well. Different point of view, I suppose. Gaga might have the cards to decide where she wants to perform and where not, and that's what makes me wonder if she uses that "common sense" you talk about. We all know she needed that AMA performance and does need the X Factor one.

I understand your point.
Sadly, I think that is useless trying to have a discussion here without having meltdowns or people dragging each other saying they know more, that people are too negative and so on. It's normal that people have different opinions but there's no need to attack other members.

Gaga's never been a chart killer, so that invalidates your first paragraph. I mean, her highest AI is, what, 118m? Her overall success has been pretty ****ing consistent and you'd have to be blind not to see that. Also, expectations are irrelevant. That has hardly anything to do with Gaga. If you expected this era to blow the past era out of the water, that is your problem.
And yeah, Gaga's choices have been stupid this era, so I agree with you on that one.

And than we don't know facts while you do...kiii.

Even if Born This Way spent a longer time at #1, it didn't have the same impact of Just Dance/Poker Face/Bad Romance.

I just can't deal with people thinking (and made explicit by their posts) Gaga is some sort of supreme being who deems his every move perfect.

TEOG is her biggest song since BR.

The thing is - I'm not the problem. I'll continue supporting her regardless her poor choices; the general public, on the other hand...

And how much has it sold? Has the video had any impact (due to its quality, of course)? Has the song, overall, had a considerable impact to be remembered over years? . That pretty much sums up everything I've been trying to say.

Alejandro made no impact other than half her fans ditching her for going all dark and weird. TEOG is one of her most successful singles on radio even w/ a ****** video. BTW is one of her highest sellers, so.

Except, I said nothing about her being a "supreme being". I said she controls her career, which she does. That is a fact that has been confirmed by many a Haus member.

RollingStone named TEOG one of her best songs to date and it's one of most critically acclaimed songs of all time. You're caught up with sales, sales, sales, and more sales. That is why your opinions on what is successful is skewed.

"Marry the Night" should be discounted to $0.39.
Billboard would count it.
