Really at this point SM needs a comeback asap. Because with no big releases on the horizon and all the drama with this going on right now, I'd say it's crucial. Hopefully Red Velvet release this month or next.

We'll see. This rocked the K-world a lot more than the Kris drama, and I think the consequences will be more as well.
SNSD has been intact for 7 years which is one of the longest runs without a line-up change. Jessica was a major member and this IS going to affect SNSD internationally as well.
Not sure how well any China debut would work now that Jessica is gone.
SNSD is not a "new" group like EXO. They reached a peak and were already declining. This drama is just going to speed up their decline and make it worse. There might not be time for fans to "get over it".
Jessica not being there is going to affect their comeback, especially if they comeback with a weak song again.
