TAR Canada gets 250k but it getss double-triple BBCAN's ratings. And basically with all the value of the home reno and trip with the 100k its about the same value. |
Canadian prizes are always so cheesy. It's always money, plus a vacation, car, package of goodies, etc

Canada's Next Top Model isn't coming back. A few years ago there was such a long delay and drama because of the whole Citytv-drama.
The Real Housewives of Toronto has not been filmed and was in the works. I'm not sure where you are getting your information from. They were doing a vote a few years ago on Vancouver and Toronto, and Vancouver ended up winning which led to The Real Housewives of Vancouver. The series was a success, with a lot of American viewers saying it was better than the American series (which I disagree), and it spawned a second season. A third season was in the works, but Shaw Media put it on hold (for a year now) because they were working on bringing other series to the network. Also, they said they won't be doing a Toronto season because they wanted to concentrate on the success of Vancouver (again, which they have paused for a year now).
