The decision by the Supreme Court was historic and a win for everybody that supports equality and progressiveness. That's great.
But now can they do something about that Michigan ban on Affirmative Action that they upheld, which will have (negative) legal ramifications for potential POC students nationwide?
And now can we focus our attention on why the Supreme Court struck down the heart of the Voting Rights Act last year, and will now allow southern states (with an extensive history of blatant racism & disenfranchisement) to change their election laws without approval from the federal government?
It's like we take 1 step forward but 3 ****ing steps back
