Angelina has serious, LEGITIMATE stans though. Like people that live their lives by her ways as furiously as an Ayn Rand stan. For instance, one of them I know has been to Africa like four times in the past three years, building villages and loving black babies and what not and her bedroom is literally covered in Angelina Jolie quotes and magazine cutouts.
I went to see Malificent with a female friend and she thought the movie was cute. Her exact words:
"I only came to see this cause of Angelina".
No one can deny how much her starpower DROVE Maleficent. There's literally no other notable cast.
Angelina wants so desperately to be loved, revered, and looked upon as some kind of benevolent entity by the GP. Her every move is calculated in an attempt to build some kind of legacy of kindness, because she has long given up on being able to do it on the film screen.
It's sad.
It's funny because regardless of if she is sincere or not she is seen as all of these things and more.
The entire world(including the US) adores her. She did what Beyonce tried to do but she didn't fail miserably.
Angola obviously has star power at this point, Maleficent proves it. Still an awful filmography with no classics Maleficent will also be forgotten before long since the original Disney cartoon will always be the iconic version of Sleeping Beauty

!! omg my 16 year old cousin is similar. She wants to work for the UN because of her.
Jane Fonda is a great, great actress but the people 45+ would definitely drag her for the Vietnam crap (even though she has vehemently apologized again and again for it). Such a great actress though, y'all should check her out.
Along with the criminally underrated (in today's age) Shirley MacLaine and Faye Dunaway.
Will Cleopatra outpeak Maleficent? I'm kinda interested. I don't think so but her star power is higher than ever, especially if her movie does well in December.
Cleopatra will be one of the biggest movies of all time if they play their cards right.
