I wonder why this show isn't resonating with the general public. It's one of the most talked about dramas with critical acclaim and Viola recently won a Emmy for her role, yet the ratings are so lackluster.

New theory :

We know that Ana Mae was raped by her uncle that's why her mom burnt their house with the uncle. She got pregnant then gave Christopher to adoption. Later, she gets pregnant by Sam and as a future mother she wants to reconnect with her son. But since we're talking about Annalise, something or someone ****ed up then she lost the baby and Christopher's adoptive mother killed herself (maybe because she caused the miscarriage ?). Then Christopher became Wes and when later Wes applies to Annalise's class, she "unconsciencely" want to reconnect with her only child.

The Pilot had like 17m viewers though

It does connect, and it's quite popular. But their long ass break between the winter finale and the next episode is annoying for viewers.

I think it's the good one

Thats cant be accurate cus Annalise's uncle was a paedophile which would make her a child during the abusive years. If she were old enough to get pregnant then her mum would not have to narrate the events of that night to her again.

This episode wasnt as entertaining. I dont see them killing off Wes unless the actor wants out. His subplot is more intertwined with Annalise's than any of other K5. He does look attractive with the beard though. Bonnie was looking extra fine as well. You can tell when she has a fresh haircut.

The break took away a lot of the show's momentum. I know with winter break, the shows are usually off air for about 3 to 4 weeks, but this break felt incredibly long.

FINALLY caught up on this show, omg. I wanted to watch it so bad but never had the time and binged between Netflix and iTunes over the past week.

I thought the most recent episode was an interesting route to go to-- Wes is pretty unlikable, but the REVEAL also the running gag of seeing how many hairstyles you can put Viola Davis in in one body of work also had me screaming (watch Fantasia's movie)

I think it was a bit weird because it didn't punch for a midseason return, in comparison to last season where it was punch punch punch all the way through the climax and up until the end, but the character building and intrigue I have now that Annalise's feelings for Wes are more clarified make me want more.

Knowing Annalise, she was probably faking that pregnancy as a means to get close to Wes' mother. I don't trust that bitch
