There are several answers to that:
1. Real recognizes real, and Bey realizes that Drake would do backing vocals and Chris would play the piano in a heartbeat because the respect for the artist is there.
2. Bey is really gunning for a AOTY grammy. If her album comes out in the tracking period + Views on the 6 + Coldplay's album, that is 3 major chances right there as she would be credited on all 3. Her chances further increase politically industry-wise if she does have Adele on her album as well.
3. It is a smart way to get play on radio and keep your name out there without worrying about chart positions and sales. It gives her a chance to work on her own stuff, relax, and do a few key performances.
