I my self do not enjoy Ultraviolence aside from a few songs but that doesn't mean I can't respect the artistry and effort.

It was her choice to record the entire album on a very old 1950s mic with a live band and no vocal takes. It was for art and I respect that and I can see why people like it.

It's down to personal taste as I don't like rock music and I like clear vocals. I don't like the image of the era..

But I can still respect it. I'm praying every day tho for her to change back to a more commercially appealing image and sound for Honeymoon.

Judging by the tilte..it's already on the right track.

MessT. I used to like it because it sounds like BTD stuff but it's regressive.

Brooklyn Baby is the best song on the album. It's so funny, I hated it when I first heard it but idk what happened. I love it now.

Giving Purity Ring's new album a whirl.
Wasn't big on their first album, seemed a bit contrived and inauthentic imo, but I don't think most people thought that.
So far it sounds like a CHVRCHES album

Some of the album is over-written filler imo, but then some is PHENOMENAL
