Bye Bye by Mariah is so unique. It has a really somber theme and lyrics, but the production and delivery is so pop that it doesn't make me feel sad at all.

I don't like Michael Jackson because his music is pretty bland/overrated. Thriller and Bad are not good albums. Dangerous is great, though. His personal life has very little, if any, impact on my opinion.

This is very true, I always thought Janet had the upper hand when it came to her overall discography compared to MJ's. It's similar to Bey, I LOVE her but her music is a bit overrated yet she's praised to the high heavens
