SHINee shouldn't have to, they're fine for now. If anything SHINee could get away with changing labels or creating a Shinhwa movement, but I don't see the point right now.
You so easily say you want to break up
Don’t go, don’t leave, come back – I couldn’t even say those words
You might be okay now but you will feel a bit empty
Don’t make decisions so easily, no no no no
Can’t stop the break up, no one can stop it
It’s getting round
It’s getting new round
You have to enjoy it now, enjoy the break up
It’s getting new round, girl
Solo solo day solo solo day girl
I’m feeling happier today, don’t touch me
Solo solo day solo solo day boy
Feel good solo solo solo day
I’m different from normal people
I like being alone
Have a light heart, no matter who looks at you
I seem cool with you saying you want to break up
But my heart isn’t, every day is boring and restless
People who feel bored and restless every day, say yeah
Don’t lie, everyone looks happy
But I guess I’m the only one, I’m the only one alone, oh solo day
Solo solo day solo solo day girl
I’m feeling happier today, don’t touch me
Solo solo day solo solo day boy
Feel good solo solo solo day
Can’t stop the break up, no one can stop it
It’s getting round
It’s getting new round

Solo solo day solo solo day girl
I’m feeling happier today, don’t touch me
Solo solo day solo solo day boy
Feel good solo solo solo day

Solo solo day solo solo day boy
Feel good solo solo solo day
Nananana nanana nanana
solo solo solo day
Nananana nanana
Feel good solo solo solo day
Well, it still works for some. YG has had a somewhat successful year and so did plenty of artists 2013. While the idol system might be crumbling, as a pop industry not that much has to change. If anything it's just bad management on SM's part.
Sales are decreasing every year, with rare exceptions. There are a lot of problems with idols' management and the market saturation is undeniable.

Oh, I agree. But I also agree with what SOTE is saying about the people who run it. If there wasn't such a strictness in the artist schedules then I feel like there wouldn't be such an issue with the idol system.
