The show only discussed her grandfather's family (Rose). I re-watched the episode and when Kelly's mom shows her the family tree online, you can see her grandmother's name is Mary Gladys George, so George goes with that guy's post. It didn't have any of Mary's parents names though. Also, at the end when Kelly's looking at that book it said Isaiah Rose's (her 3x great grandfather) parents were of German descent.

Haha, I always find it funny when Americans say "I'm Greek or I'm German/Irish/Italian" and then they have a great grandfather who was half not-American. When I was in America, people came up to me and said "Oh I'm German as well! My grandmother could speak German".
It's probably an American thing because usually in Germany, when people say they are foreign, they really are born in a foreign country or their parents are. I've always assumed that Kelly's mother had Greek parents or something.

Kelly Clarkson Recording Christmas Album with Reba, Trisha Yearwood and Ronnie Dunn

Yesterday we told you that Kelly Clarkson had been in the recording studio with Reba and Trisha Yearwood and now we’ve learned they were recording a version of “Silent Night” for Kelly’s upcoming Christmas album. And they’re not the only guests who will appear on the CD with Kelly. She revealed that she’s recorded her favorite Christmas song, “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” with Ronnie Dunn. Kelly says, “Everybody always does it kind of big bandy. And we kept a little bit of the big band production, but I’m doing it with Ronnie Dunn and he is like one of my favorite voices of all time. He’s so soulful.” Kelly jokes that with all those guest stars, “I’m so excited. Even if nobody buys this album I’m just so excited that I have it for me.

Kelly Clarkson’s Christmas album will be released sometime this fall.

And I'm personally not liking the direction the album is going. What happened to the big band/blues Christmas album she was talking about? I was hoping for her to become the female Michael Buble but oh well....
