I think that can be beneficial to the artists to some extent. All the opression these idols go through, they can't have a say in their music or in their careers, that's why everything sounds the same and the rising groups like they are calling are mere representations of the top groups that are already out there for a while.
Maybe the only way for Kpop to survive is going through a massive overhaul, because if the idol system sinks, the music market in SK will also shrink considerably.
