The only time fire/fighting as a type combo made sense was gen 4 since it gave Infernape some form of advantage over Empoleon. Although Blaziken was the original, so I think both of them are excusable. Gen 5 was just for making it Fire/Fight a 3rd time in a row.
Right? I can excuse the other two but Emboar is pointless, and its design is kinda ugly too.

Anyway, I just bought a LeafGreen off ebay (yes not the best of places ) but i'm so confused wether its fake or not it seems 50/50. Can anyone tell me any significant things I should look out for to find out wether its fake or not?
In an interview with Ken Sugimori, he revealed that he intended for Hydreigon and its pre-evolutions to be designed as techno-organic tank-like Pokemon. Ultimately the designs didn't really work, so a different motif was chosen.
The three Pokemon were based on Yamata no Orochi, the legendary eight headed-dragon/serpent that some of you may be familiar with as it is sometimes depicted in videogames like Okami. According to Sugimori, though Hydreigon has one true head, its oddly shaped wings and hands are meant to represent the others, and the odd purple lines across its body are actually a nod to its original tank design, as they resemble caterpillar tracks.
I don't really read the pokedex entries but I just started reading some of them and there are some really creepy pokedex entries lol.
Litwick: While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follow it.
Lampent: It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body. The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on.
Frillish: If its veil-like arms stun and wrap a foe, that foe will be dragged miles below the surface, never to return.
Yamask: Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
Banette: A doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge of being thrown away. It seeks the child who disowned it.
Haunter: Its tongue is made of gas. If licked, its victim starts shaking constantly until death eventually comes.
and I just stumbled across this creepypasta entry. It was based on the actual Pokedex entry; It carries a pendulum-like device. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized.
