Honestly, I sorta respect Miley for that thing. The album is probably terrible... I'll probably never know for sure because I'll probably never listen to it, but I salute her for just making whatever music she wanted to make on her own terms and not making a fuss about it.

Look at it this way -- if Rihanna somehow managed to write 23 songs on her own and record them with just one or two or three producers, wouldn't we all be praising her for it? Regardless of the output.

1. I don't think Rih would ever decide to release a body of work for free.
