It's a shame that Barbra's peak came before the music industry really started to become more than just the U.S. and the U.K. She definitely would have had Céline's global sales in addition of her domestic stature. Oh well, being the highest selling female artist in American history isn't that bad.

If you love the first Kylie albums as I do, you should start with Another Place and Time, Kylie and Donna shared producers in 1989, I personally love SAW (the work they did with my faves, of course).

Omg I started rewatching like 2 months ago, I'm on season 6 now but yea it turns into soap opera in season 2-3. The decline in quality is real. It's still good tho.

Is it Madonna's music that's the problem or is it Crowdonna? I think Rebel Heart had pretty strong melodies overall considering how many tracks were on the album and how terribly mixed half the tracks are but I low-key kinda feel like I'd like the album even more if someone else were singing them.

Love Madonna but I do feel as though her imagery and her controversy is much stronger than her music.

She has a bunch of gems but I can listen to a Janet or a MJ and not always think about the video or performances.

I can't listen to a Madonna song and not think about whatever controversy surrounded it or the imagery used.

Who's that girl and cherish are the only songs where I can just listen without anything else in my mind
