But what bit comes from J.Lo? The fact that she has a perfume? That she wearings Versace? That she had a lot of hip-hop styling? That she was in movies? I don't think Beyoncé is musically influenced by J.Lo at all however I do think she may be influenced by her with her business ventures and brand as a whole

I suppose I could give you that, but.... an artist venturing out in many different facets of the entertainment industry is hardly new.

Singers have been making movies since the 1930s … Diana Ross did it too in the 1970s, nominated for an Oscar … Celebrity perfumes started in the early 1980s with Sophia Loren, made more famous by Elizabeth Taylor later on … Hip-hop collaborations became popular with Mariah … we could keep going. There just isn’t enough original J.Lo influence in Bey to add it to the equation.

YES! As much as I learnt later that the album is my least favourite of her’s, it was a great time to be a Beyoncé fan. I became a stan at the beginning of the B’Day era (the seed was Check on It), but IASF was my first full era where I was full stan. The lead up was amazing, although we all knew that when asked “WHO IS SASHA FIERCE?” that it was Beyoncé. Coming home for Christmas and watching so many Beyoncé performances on TV… the switch from people being like WTF IS THIS VIDEO? to it being probably the most iconic video of it’s tme, the fact that we kept getting 2 singles at once. The inauguration! The tour! Obsessed slaying and breaking a record for it’s debut numbers. The record breaking amount of Grammys she won ...

I just watched the Paris Partition fail and she was SO mad. I'm pretty sure she had tears in her eyes. At the end when the chair is supposed to be there she just slowly turns around and when it isn't there she just walks off.

She must've been so frustrated to have just walked off stage like that.
