I don't think she killed half of the hype, people are begging for R8 literally everyday, even the medias. It's her most anticipated album ever and at the end of the day it's still a new Rihanna album, one she announces/drops it she'll break the internet.

And......she's busy finalizing the album (making sure it's perfect) and working on many other projects.

I think Higher has me most hyped. I honest to God wonder if the GP even knows about R8, especially since FFS was eight months ago (We Found Love on Loud teas). Sure Buzzfeed and a bunch of other publications are constantly making posts about it, but are they just the Navy or a good representation of GP? I feel like I'm the only one that's keeping people up-to-date with Rihanna news in my friend circles.

I so agree with your post! The hype is there and you will feel it for real when the first real information about the release comes out. Even on ATRL the so called non event creates hit threads even with rumors! Yea it's a letdown the way the thing has gone but believe it or not the hype is there.
