My mother is so annoyingly accidentally racist/homophobic. Like she doesn't even think she is. She was having a rant before about how "Gay Pride" is a stupid term and how gays shouldn't be proud to be gay and why can't straight people be proud to be straight.
Plus she said I was wrong for being embarrassed that Australia hasn't legalised it yet, as the US is "always wanting to be the biggest, the best and the first to do things" (as if marriage equality isn't already legalised in the UK, most of Europe, New Zealand etc.)
