And I don't know how I feel about them choosing a way to reinvent one of the ways the game is played by including something that reminds me so much of another franchise I'm also a fan of tho. And a franchise I like to keep as separate as possible to Pokemon too, to say the least.
I don't know, I figure its something I'll have to see and experience with my own eyes and get used to before I start liking it. But even in the preview, the cut scene it used to activate this mega evolution reminded me way too much of a Digivice or something. It just comes to a point where the franchises are going to start blurring the lines a bit too much, in my opinion.

I didn't like it at first too, but it's actually a great idea to give Pokémon a new evolution, without making 4 stage evolutions. It's pretty useless for Mawile etc, but I can't wait to use them in battles
