I haven't really been convinced by Kelly's Christmas stuff so far. I liked Grown Up Christmas List, but I don't really get the love for IBHFC tbh

I'll get her album though for sure. I'll always support the QUEEN, even if she released an album full of B-sides (which I would actually like)

Grrrrr, I'm so pissed I didn't buy the Deluxe Version of AIEW back in the day, because I can't find the Making of Video of MLWSWY anywhere. I was such a flop stan back then that I thought the dvd was a waste of money

Overplayed and hated? I think so lol.

I''m so sad Kelly is not doing Idol. Now I hate the Maroon 5 concert more than ever since that's the reason she isn't doing it. I'm hoping they will ask her again next season, if there's indeed going to be a next season which I doubt.

OMG..... Amazing concert. Got PLU, TIU, and America the Beautiful in addition to the regulars. The 40k strong crowd loved her so much.

OMG you have ATB??? I saw Ashley D's small clip and it was amazing!

ETA: just read from a Utah newspaper article that there were roughly 48k there. Not bad

I expect to see a 48k spike in sales this next week for KC

PROVO » All the expected facets of a Fourth of July celebration — the men and women in uniform, flags and fireworks — were at the 33rd America’s Freedom Festival’s Stadium of Fire. Kelly Clarkson headlined the event, and a Canadian even joined in on the fun.

Carly Rae Jepson joked with the near-capacity crowd at Brigham Young University’s LaVell Edwards Stadium that, although she’s from British Columbia, the 27-year-old was honored to celebrate the U.S. Independence Day. She and Clarkson wowed the crowd with their bubbly personalities on stage and powerful voices.

Those in attendance were also treated to a performance by Cirque du Soleil. More than a dozen acrobats from the "Zarkana" show performed feats of strength in the popular Las Vegas performers’ first appearance in the Stadium of Fire. In what was possibly the most breathtaking moment of the evening, four performers formed a human tower.

Afterward, Jepson took to the stage and opened with "This Kiss." She then turned to the crowd to help her sing her next song, "Good Time." Jepson concluded with the 2012 best-selling single, "Call Me Maybe." She often ran off the stage to engage the crowd with handshakes, high-fives and smiles.

Afterward, emcee Patti Austin struck a patriotic tone in her lone singing performance of the night as a salute to the Wounded Warrior Project. The 62-year-old R&B and jazz singer sang a rendition of "Lean on Me" while images of injured soldiers flashed on the big screens.

Austin then introduced the winner of the first season of "American Idol," Clarkson. She began with "My Life Would Suck Without You" and "Walkaway." Clarkson, 31, displayed her wide range of vocals that originally made her famous more than a decade ago, and then performed a couple of her country songs she recently added to her repertoire. The Texas native performed, "Don’t You Wanna Say" and "Tie It Up."

In her final half dozen songs, Clarkson performed her hits, "Breakaway," "Since You Been Gone" and "Stronger." Of all her songs, "Since You Been Gone" encouraged nearly the entire crowd to sing along, which had Clarkson beaming and jumping around stage.

After the performances were finished, fireworks illuminated the night sky. For the almost 50,000 people in attendance, there may not have been a better way to celebrate the Fourth of July.

I have full (poor quality) video of TIU. Missed most of the rest because I had an aisle seat and the attendant was getting agitated. Her ATB performance was good, but not one of her best of the song (her voice seemed to be at 80%).

.... and yeah. 48k or so. The capacity is 68k, but they partitioned off the south side of the stadium for the fireworks display. If they had 68k tickets they would have sold though..... at least that many gather around the stadium to watch the fireworks.

Breakaway well well received. She let the crowd sing a chorus alone, and it was VERY impressive how well the crowd did. Of course everyone loved Stronger and SUBG as well. She was very well received considering it was a general public event..... rather than a Kelly concert. Her reception was 10X louder than Carly's..... and Patti Austin really gushed over Kelly in her intro.

Was a great event.

Edit: It was televised on the Armed Forces tv network. So I am hoping SOMEONE uploads it

), but I got it last Christmas because I asked for it. I still don't understand why I didn't buy the deluxe when the album was released

Canada is such a stan. I still can't at Low peaking at #2 in Canada and in the US it didn't make it to Top50 (it was #58, right?).
