I'm not saying that Taylor's friends are obligated to stand up for her in public, I assume that most of them probably contacted her in private which is absolutely fine. However, it's weird that Lorde would defend or support someone she only met briefly at a TV show but can't do it for Taylor, one of her friends who's always been very supportive of Lorde. Also her recent association with that bully Diplo. I don't really understand that. I love Lorde and her music though, don't get me wrong.

Lorde is more of a Kanye stan than a Lord stan, but she's Lord's friend and merely Kanye's acquaintance, so her stance is probably just that she does not want to be involved which I think is ok.
