Hmm. If that were the case, she wouldn't consistently break the biggest deals. I believe Mathew did VERY well to teach her how to navigate the business side of things. That and being married to Jay-Z, give her a business savvy. Hence Parkwood's success.
And when you have CEOs of Sony, Pepsi, and Topshop being like "Oh, she came to us. She presented us with this idea. She wanted to collaborated!" Really shows how forward-thinking she is.
(There's a reason why she's not co-owner of Tidal and only owns 3% like the other artists and won't release her album as an exclusive there, hehe)
That movie will never be touching the quality of the original book. It doesn't help that it is the most forgotten and uncared for Disney movie of the Renaissance.
