Her publicist can work with Vogue to come up with optimal timing. With Taylor, the biggest musician in the world, you;d have to give her what she wants in exchange for covering the magazine.
Oh I see so the labels choose
Then I guess def jam isn't so bad considering they always get rih those covers.
Waiting for her "Hey, it's Taylor, I wanted to have a web chat with you guys next week" video in August/September + the cryptic Facebook post about how she sat "in a big room and made a lot of important decisions. Love, Taylor" post.
Here's my guess:
June- Candids in New York, going to musicals, instagram pictures of her in the recording studio, floating between NAshville and NYC
July- Las minute touches on the album, LA with Karlie and some other friends, lays low for a little bit
August- Quiet until The Giver premiere, album hyping/possible announcement, no lead single, heavy and innovative promotion begins
MTV VMAs- Debuts single, song becomes available at midnight after the show
Sept- Vogue issue comes out, some surprise performances of a few songs here and there
Oct- Album release on the 13th, immense promo
That'd be perfect
They need to continue promotion throughout the whole era though. Not here for the era ending abruptly a few months in

July 13th.
She said we would know more about it "soon" and we still had to wait a month.
Longest month ever IMO.
I remember when Scott even said we shouldn't expect anything until the end of August aroung the end of July 2012
