I agree. I like some of it but i can't stand it when people praise it as "advanced pop" as though its some higher for of music while at the same time dismissing its strong influences like j-pop.

I like a few PC Music songs (Lemonade, Bipp) but I completely agree with the bolded. Anybody who genuinely believes that it's superior to typical commercial pop needs to get over themselves.

Femme Fatale is definitely a consistent album, especially when you remember that Dr. Luke was the executive producer. He didn't do too poorly on that. There are a few duds though, like Big Fat Bass (poor Monte!), Drop Dead Beautiful, and Gasoline.
