Kylie Minogue arrives at Qatar, Grand Opening of Millions of Milkshake and a Performance
After the whole Burn music video situation occurred, Qatar requested Kylie to travel to Doha and stumble on a cultural tour, since Qatar has fast established itself as the cultural hub of the Middle East, as a way of an apology, even though Minogue has mentioned that she did not need any kind of apology, she agreed to visit the humble country.
Kylie Minogue has recently spent time in Doha, taking time out for a culturally enriching experience, discovering the varied and exciting activities on offer in the Middle Eastern country.
Many of Qatar’s attractions are rooted in the destination’s culture and environment, showcasing a selection of ground-breaking exhibitions, stunning architecture and beautiful works of art.
Kylie’s first stop was one of Qatar Museum’s highlights, the Museum of Islamic Art.
The museum runs different themed exhibitions and this month head to MIA to discover the history of board games in the Islamic world. Kylie had a chance to visit the Etel Adnan in All Her Dimensions exhibition at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.
Kylie Minogue also was the surprise guest at last night’s IATA AGM Gala Dinner in Doha, hosted by Qatar Airways. The Australian songstress standing in the heart of an Amphitheatre in Doha, Qatar, in the searing 33 degree heat, the pop princess sang to her heart's content on Wednesday and wowed a packed room of airline chief executives with nine of her biggest hits, including classics such as “Can’t get you out of my head,” “Locomotion” and new hits "Circles," and "Burn."
While in Qatar, Kylie was also invited to attend the opening of The Millions of Milkshakes store at the Villagio Mall, she made her own Milkshake and was greeted with dozens of loving fans at the mall. Kylie's collection for Versace also launched in Qatar this week, which she made a small visit to.

Azealia Uploads Acoustic Version of Paradiso
Earlier today Azealia Banks uploaded an acoustic cover of her new hit song Paradiso and in the video she even cried about Shawnna's death and did a mini cover of Shawnna's hit Gettin' Some. The video has since gotten 2.5 million views and the video even trended on Twitter due to the controversy around Shawnna's death. In the video Azealia is seen wearing a brown top and her hair in a wrap with no makeup. Azealia then first says "rest in peace Shawnna" and she then begins to rap Paradiso and even Shawnna's verse. The tears start coming from Azealia though once she covers "Gettin' Some" around the chorus is where the tears started to fall and she turned off the camera. Remy Ma tweeted about the video saying:
Azealia has yet to respond to anything Remy Ma has said. Remy Ma has even uploaded a diss to Azealia in which she raps over the Paradiso beat saying "Bitch **** you and Shawnna!" The video of Remy's diss has gotten hundreds of thousands of views and a 50/50 like and dislike bar. With the use of Azealia's song Paradiso in Remy's diss this brings streaming points to the hit by Azealia so in the end, Remy has only helped Azealia with her foolishness. Trina has not yet chosen sides on this ordeal and Missy seems to only be tweeting "smh" More to come on the Shawnna ordeal soon.

Zedd visits Dateline NBC
Zedd decided to visit Dateline NBC to promote his album Serenity as well as his current single “Temple,” which features Lady Gaga. This is an unusual move, as the Dateline show usually only has episodes that cover crime; however, this episode was a special episode about electronic dance music. A 10-minute interview focused on Zedd and his rise to fame, and his recent works. A snippet of the interview can be found below.
Lester Holt: Welcome to the show, Zedd!
Zedd: Great to be on here.
Holt: So, I know you want to talk about your new album first, but let’s start with your first. You went from somewhat underground in the EDM community but building respect at the same time, to having a huge hit with your song “Clarity”. What happened?
Zedd: “Clarity” just came out at the right time, I guess. Oh, and also my label promoted it well.
Holt: That’s always good!
Zedd: Haha, yeah. “Clarity” was huge compared to everything else I’ve done. It was successful enough to make a deluxe edition for it with “Stay the Night” and a few remixes on it.
Holt: I can tell you’re anxious to discuss your new album. Let’s get to that. Now, it has two singles out right now, correct?
Zedd: Yep. The first single was “Slay” and it peaked at number 15 on the CAL Chart. The second is “Temple” and it features Lady Gaga; it debuted at number 9. We’re currently promoting that as well as the album, which is being released next week.
Holt: Anything you’d like to say about “Temple” before we move on to the album as a whole?
Zedd: I assume everyone’s been seeing it in quite a few places recently. Expect to see it even more!
Holt: So the album, you just recently revealed the cover art and track listing, right?
Zedd: Yep, it’s now up on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.
Holt: Anything that you want to mention about it? Any standouts or the general production of the album?
Zedd: It has a song with Kesha on it called “Not a Single Problem.” It’s going to be on her next album as well. I think people will really love it. Also, there are four instrumental songs on it. Each instrumental song bookends three groups of three vocal songs. The album features Ariana Grande, Azealia Banks, Britney Spears, Foxes, Lady Gaga, Ryan Tedder, Miriam Bryant, Kesha, and Matthew Koma.
Holt: Wow, that’s quite a few features! What songs will be singles, you think?
Zedd: I don’t know, but the CAL Company now puts restrictions on the amount of features and collabs you may have between CAL-associated artists. I’ve already used my one feature, so I can’t use any other features aside from the Ryan Tedder, Miriam Bryant, and Matthew Koma songs unless I release them as collabs. The Kesha one may be able to be released as it is a collab, but I’m not sure what she has planned.
Holt: Well, that’s all the time we have to interview you. Good luck on the chart!
Zedd: Thanks!
Remember to preorder Serenity today! Or, buy it on July 21st!
"Temple" is the second single from Zedd's sophomore album Serenity.
Buy it now on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. Also stream it on YouTube and Spotify!
The music video is now available on iTunes, YouTube, and Vevo!
The remix EP is now available on iTunes, with additional remixes on Beatport soon!

Britney Spears: Musical Guest on Saturday Night Live
After hosting + performing on SNL a few weeks ago, Spears stopped by again and was involved in one skit & was the musical guest for the night. Rihanna was in the skit with Britney and it was basically a parody of their "Touchin' Me" music video, the gurls also were a little shameless and promoted their albums "American Dream"/"Sex Diary" in the skit, giving away free copies to all the people that attended the sunday mass in the parody.
Britney took to the stage to perform as the musical guest performing four songs: Climax, Body To Body, Gimme Your Best, and Touchin' Me.
The first performance was a mash-up of Climax and Body To Body, two songs off Britney's new "American Dream" album, the performance promote these sensual songs on the album to give viewers a taste of Britney's album, a picture of the album cover was displayed after the performance to give it a little promo.
The performance started with Britney on a large red bed, she was wearing a pink lingerie set with striped stockings as she began singing Climax live
"Lets get to the best part baby it's the climax, make me go OOOOOH, touch my body, breathe on me, make me feel COOOL. I wanna get taste of your sweet lovin baby lets hit it, it's the best, what you're waiting for.. the climax baby, drive me crazy all night, toy with me, play with me, gimme a tease and then pull it away, make it last as long as you can 'fore you let it go, let it snow, the climax.. all over my body baby"
Spears sang on the bed moving her body sensually and touching herself to the song. After about two minutes of sensual moving on the bed, Body To Body started playing. Spears got up and off the bed as a man came on stage wearing no shirt and jeans. The man turned out to Cristiano Ronaldo, he picked her up threw her down on the bed. They began taking off each others minimal clothing as the got under the blankets. They moved around in the bed to "Body To Body" as Brit sang live. Britney sat on top of Cristiano and pulled the blanket down and revealed her nude back and partial boobs while she touched her hair, she quickly bent down and moved the blankets back over her body as they rolled around again, Cristiano then pulled the blanket off revealing his bare back and part of his butt crack, they were fully naked under there. Britney then grabbed the blanket and put it on like a towel as Ronaldo quickly put his boxers back on. Brit walked to center stage with the blanket wrapped around her as Ronaldo's erect penis was pretty visible through the boxers, he followed behind her and tried to cover it up, the pic of it is spreading around everywhere because you can see the outline. They then kissed center stage as they touched each other to "Body To Body", smoke surrounded them and the performance was over.
The second performance was a mash-up of Gimme Your Best/Touchin' Me
The performance started with Spears wearing a very sexy bra + pant combination with a black trench coat. Special agent ladies came down from the ceiling on ropes as the girls began dancing to Gimme Your Best, a bunch of different male dancers came onto the stage attempting to grab the girls but the girls fought them off. The girls then danced in a triangle formation to Gimme Your Best with Britney at the peak, smoke surrounded the stage as the girls got low to the ground and water began raining down on them as they moved their bodies on the ground and through the smoke. Britney then got up and moved her hands to the side of her body, pushing them all to the ground as they descended underneath the stage (wasn't visible due to smoke). Britney started dancing center stage in her ring of fire as Gimme Your Best transformed to "Touchin' Me".
Rihanna came out from underneath the stage wearing the same outfit as Brit Brit, the girls performed a dance break together center stage to the chorus of Touchin' Me. The dance break was hot and the gurls were hitting all the right moves, shaking their bodies very sensually on stage. A golden cage was lowered down on the girls, they moved around the cage and hung off the top of it. They then moved up on top of the cage as it rose in the air, they began ripping off parts of each others outfits on the top of the cage, making their outfits more revealing. They touched each other as the cage lowered down back to the stage and an army tank came onto the stage. Army men came out and told the girls to "Freeze, we got you now", Rih and Brit kissed as Britney threw a circular object into the air, it turned into a rope which pulled Rih and Brit up up and away, ending the performance and SNL.

Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica
('Loverboy' Performance w/ Eric Saade)
There are plenty of songs in the world right now that have been a dubbed as catch and fun but how many of those songs have been not only been a commercial hit but also a major with critics too? The answer is; very few. One of those few happen to be no one other than American singer-songwriter and actress, Taylor Swift. With her brand new single 'Loverboy' being produced by Disco legend and pioneer Girogio Moroder, there's no reason the critics wouldn't eat the song up. When you expect new Taylor Swift music, you expect quality. It is quite the same with Giorgio Moroder. So when the two merge together to make a song you can almost guarantee the song to be a masterpiece and that's just what critics across thought of 'Loverboy', an uptempo disco song in which Swift confesses her fancy with a male or female referring to the original music video Taylor Swift released earlier today, which has caused great controversy. Taylor Swift penned the song solely on her own, writing the lyrics in less than thirty minutes she told The Guardian. "Loverboy is just one of those songs that just happen magically. In the snap of your fingers you finish it. I sat down with my guitar a little out of it because I had a few shots of vodka and tequila but I sat there picked up my guitar and just started strumming this little rhythm I had going in my head. It was really poppy acoustic at first and sounded kind of odd on my guitar but in my mind I was imagining the song having the production it has now. That guitar riff in pre-chorus and chorus. I could just hear it echoing in my mind. The song was written really quick. I wrote it in thirty minutes. The lyrics, melody, and everything. It's one of those rare things. Usuall when you rush something it ends up being half assed or just underwhelming. It wasn't that case with 'Loverboy'. The song just happened to be magical. I think it was fate really that the song came to me on that night." Taylor spoke before adding in some thank yous. "I should really think the guy who inspired it and the alcohol I had that night too. Definitely." Swift laughed.
Taylor Swift released the song earlier this week to an amazing commercial reception, the song shooting straight up the charts, ready to battle with some of the biggest songs out there this week. "Competition is something you always have to watch for. You can really push a song to go number one and end up falling on your face. That's why you have to be so careful with lead singles. You've got to make sure the song is good, that the song is radio friendly, that it's the perfect introduction to the album, and lastly that it's a song that people will remember. I try to do that with every record but if there's one that I feel I didn't do that with it'd probably be RED. But I think I definitely have it covered with 'Loverboy'. There are plenty of songs I feel would do well on the charts if not even better than 'Loverboy' but I really can't imagine any other song on the record being the lead single except it. It has this aura and sort of lightness to it my last singles didn't have. It's really a classic throwback and we're in the summer so I thought "hey why not release a summer single?!!" if you get what I mean." The song has been well received digitally and mostly on radio too, the song already having eighty million audience impressions in what will soon be a week. Gaining spins of over three hundred a day on every station big and large, there's no telling where the song will stop. We are sure that it may be a good chance the song will be a radio smash hit. It seems to be that with every promotional slot Taylor Swift does the song sells, singles and albums.
The promotion didn't end either as Taylor Swift was live on the Latin American Version of the MTV Video Music Awards that were cancelled in 2009 but returned this year in 2014. Taylor Swift was announced as a performer earlier this week in which she released a video promo talking about her performance slot. "I'm so happy that the Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica awards are back and I'm even more excited that yours truly gets to perform at them. The awards are officially back so make sure to tune in. I may have a little surprise for you. See you there. Much love from me, Taylor!" MTV Latino America played the promo constantly to hype fans for the awards in which initially already had hype since it was a major return. Taylor Swift came on stage as the third performer, following Belinda and Thalia who were the first performers. Dubbed as the main performer of the night there was no time to disappoint.
The performance started off with a bright red screen being lowered to the stage. It stayed for a moment before it blinked and the instrumental began to play. As the instrumental played the screen split open, revaling another screen behind it. The lights were out so we only saw Taylor's silhouette as dancers' were also the only think seen as the screen continued to split. We saw the outline of a hat and we assumed that they were dressed as nurses. The lights cut on and we saw them instead dressed as candy strippers. A hand on her hip Taylor began singing the first verse and her female dancers began dancing, holding on one to another who appeared to be fawning over guy in the distance. As Taylor began marching forward so did her dancers as they did a little dance routine that involved them traveling around the whole stage, Taylor spinning and catching a panning camera with her eyes every time, making it seem as if the camera were doing a complete 360. Before the second verse hit, men and women (attractive ones) were brought out on hospital beds by the candy stripers. they lined them opposite of each other, creating a row that led to Taylor. Before the second verse hit, the lights went out and the instrumental stopped. The staged was red like the intro again as the another shadow appeared, one that appeared to be a male. The lights came on again as it appeared to be Eric Saade in a modernized and custom doctor's like uniform. Taylor stood with a hand on her hip looking fierce as Saade had her in his sights. As he walked towards her, he looked over at the people on the hospital beds occasionally checking on a few before they all wheeled away as he got closer to Taylor. When he was close to Taylor, he came up behind her and put his hand around her waist as they sang the chorus. The bridge consisted of them doing vocalizations before Taylor split up moving over to a group of candy stripers. More male attractive doctors appeared and they stood on opposite sides of the stage looking at each other. They then moved towards each other where a R&B disco instrumental kicked in (a R&B sounding break) as they began grinding, Taylor on Saade and all the dancers on the other. The last chorus consisted of Taylor and Saade showing off their vocals while doing a little dance before they ended in a pose, the lights shutting off. The performance was the best one yet and the performance sent the song straight to the top in Latin American countries.

ARGENTINIAN WORLD CUP FESTIVAL
Danity Kane played yesterday at the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires during their festivities of the World Cup. Having Argentina play in the Final was a great accomplishment for the country, so the energy was flowing and everybody was definitely ready to be entertained for either ninety or one hundred and twenty minutes of fútbol. Also performing in the capital were superstar supporters Fifth Harmony, Paulina Rubio, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. Opening the show with "Bad Girl", Danity Kane showed that they were NOT going to play around at all with this set. Wearing all-black attire with stripes of blue and white in the hair, the girls made a fabulous first impression on the Argentinian public with their support through their fashion. In the performance, they had jail cells of which they all broke out of during the song and some Argentinian back-up dancers assisted them in dancing to the mini-breakdown over Missy Elliott's rap. For a while Shannon spoke a bit with the crowd in Spanish, really getting the crowd to pump it up and really loosen up. "¿Te gusta mucha Messi o Ronaldo? Yo prefiero Messi en la campa, pero Ronaldo es muy caliente. Ahhh, coño." Transitioning back to English, Dawn asked Argentina, "Argentina, who's ready to have a good time tonight?" and there was a bit of silence until Shannon screamed, "¿Quieres tiene divertido?" and the crowd roared. "Well, what y'all know about some lemonade?" Aubrey shouted and the song kicked in. This was the only song that anyone in Argentina knew from Danity Kane. Throughout their performance, yellow glitter came down from the ceilings of the stage and yellow confetti bursted into the crowds from many different locations on the street/centre. The girls also adjusted their fashion a bit so they'd have some yellow attire. As usual, the three entered a bit of a dance breakdown during Tyga's verse, which got the crowd pumped even more. It was definitely nice to have a song where the crowd could sing along too. They kicked it into high-gear, performing "Rhythm of Love" next. The electric guitar intro had everyone screaming and Danity Kane brough it to kill it once again. In addition, many different colors of lasers and lights invaded Buenos Aires and took everyone by surprise as Danity Kane isn't very laser-ish when it comes to their performances. They continued to provide many more great performances, not picking a single ballad so they could keep the party going all night long until the game came on. They performed tracks such as "Damaged", "Back Up", "Right Now", "Ain't Going" and a few more songs. And actually, for the first time in quite a while, Danity Kane performed a couple of covers which got Argentina blazing a little more. At the end, they passed out 'DK3' glowsticks and asked the crowd to put all of theirs up in the air and sway as they closed out with "Rage". They were lifted by pillars on the stage and gave heart and soul vocally, with Dawn crying as she performed the song because the space and support was overwhelming. At the end of the show, Danity Kane gave a huge "Gracias!" to Argentina and prayed they would win. Sadly even though Argentina played a better game, they lost to Germany 0-1. However on the charts, Danity Kane won with both "Lemonade" and 'DK3' topping the charts on iTunes and them being the talk of the nation. Here was their set list in full.
"Bad Girl"
"Lemonade"
"Rhythm of Love"
"Ain't Going"
"Right Now"
"Back Up"
"Show Stopper"
"Bailando" cover of Enrique Iglesias
"Timber" cover of Pitbull/Ke$ha
"Damaged"
"Hold Me Down"
"Rage"
