"Tonight"
Probably the only really "generic" song on the album, "Tonight" features Paige singing about forgetting about everyone else, and just partying on her own since she'd rather be alone than be bored with others. Features an acoustic guitar with stomping drums before turning into a total, bass-heavy club banger in the chorus. It's good for dancing, but could easily be done by Katy Perry.
|
Boo, It could not be done by Katheryn, as she doesn't do basic dance pop songs. Her party songs include This Is How We Do or Last Friday Night. While both speak of irresponsible acts, They are NOT about "clubs and bitches and hoes" as she has previously stated Katy sings about love, self empowerment, and some other stuff i guess, but NOT something like Tonight. She's not common for club bangers tbh. You look to artists like, while I stan for them, Britney Spears, Ke$ha or Rihanna for these songs. and any other pop girl.
Katy has never done a song like this. And you are wrong for thinking so. Unless it's in Create A Label, she doesn't go there.

TAYLOR ON JAY LENO
Taylor Swift performed and stopped by for an interview with Jay Leno tonight where she discussed causal topic with Jay, including her highly successful music career, her dating life, and some future plans of Taylor's. After a five to seven minute interview, she performed her latest single off of her fifth studio album titled 'All At Once'. The third single off the number one and chart topping album is called 'Girl With The Red Lipstick' which peaked at #2 this week with sales of over five hundred thousand copies. It proved to be a very successful week for Taylor and her record label Tigerlily Recordings. Taylor performed for Leno in a little black dress, Taylor's locks of gold straightened.
Please welcome to the stage, Taylor Swift! How are you Taylor?
I'm really good how about you?
Really good, I was really excited for
this interview. Wanna know why?
Tell me, Jay.
I was looking forward to be called old.
Do all you talk show hosts like text each other after the show ends to talk about the guests on the show?
How do you know so much?
How can I not?
Anyways, congratulations on your album going number one this week?
It did?!!
No one told you?
No.
Your label should've gotten on that.
That's crazy. My fourth consecutive number one in a row. Wow.
It was also your biggest first week sales and it passed the one million mark and was certified platinum.
That's so epic, wow. I want to thank everyone who helped it get there and to the number one spot.
Do you keep an eye on the chart? Like do you just sit behind your computer screen and wait for predictions and stuff to come in?
Obviously not considering I didn't know my album went number one. But I did keep up one week but it got confusing.
You performed and attended the Create a label awards. You performed with Justin I think?
Yeah it was a lot of fun. Justin's always fun to be around. Even more fun to perform with him.
You didn't win any awards sadly. How do you feel about that?
Its fine. I didn't really expect to but I'm really happy that artists who have only released one single and have been relevant for like fourteen days got to get some awards.
How do you feel about Justin not being nominated?
I think he deserved at least one award. Three or four actually but who needs awards when you have sales.
Are you seeing anyone Taylor?
Yeah and I'm going to tell you who very very soon.
Thank you so much for joining me Taylor
no problem

(1200)Ke$ha on the Ms Seal show (track-by-track reviw)(Tuesday)
S: Ms Seal ~~ K: Ke$ha

S: Ke$ha is here to give a track-by-track review of her brand new album Gladiator!
K: Ok, this is gonna be a while
"Wonderland"
This is a country song that I wrote with my mother. It's about remembering the old days when life was easy. I talk about my life before I became famous on it. It's really amazing because a few years ago, I was just a waitress working at an old diner and now, I'm talked about on the news, on talk shows, award shows and my songs are actually in the Top 10 on iTunes. It's really different from everything else on the album and I wanted a song about my past to open Gladiator.
"Get In Line"
Get in line is actually an old demo. I re-recorded it and added new lyrics. It's about being surrounced by boys and telling them that if they want my heart, they're gonna have to get in line. It's a pop song that sort of sounds like something from Animal so I thought that my fans might want something like that.
"Out Alive"
Out Alive is a dance-pop song that you'd usually hear in clubs. It's about living everyday and not thinking about tomorrow because no one's getting out alive! Ammo and Billboard produced the song, I co-worte it with a few song writers.
"Cold Hands"
This is about a person who has turned cold and ruined the relationships he/she had with others. It's a mid-tempo song and I chose it as the lead single because it's one of my favorites from the album and it has a lot of meaning behind it. I thought that the public could relate.
"Gladiator"
Gladiator is sort of EDM, produced by Max Martin. It's about being wild and not giving a s*** about what the haters say. You have to be yourself, you can lie to others but you really can't lie to yourself. It's basically about not changing who you are for others.
"Woo Hoo"
This actually sample Blur's Song 2. I really loved that song and I asked them if I could sample it. It's about no giving a f*** and doing what ever you want. People say that I'm a bad influence on teenagers but I don't get paid to raise them. They're not gonna change because of a song that I made and if they do listen to my music, they'll see the message that I'm trying to send. I wrote it with The Saturdays and they sang parts of it with me.
"You Control My Heart"
I wrote, sang and produced this song with Wayne Coyne. A snippet of it was released a long time before the album. This finished version is a bit different from the old snippet. It's an indie song about loving someone so much, you think that they control you heart.
"Full Moon"
Full Moon was originally meant to be the lead single but it was canceled last minute. I released Cold Hands over a week after that. This was also mid-tempo but I didn't think that it was lead single material so I told my label to cancel it. It's about loving everything about a person, even their dark side. The dark side comes out in a full moon like a warewolf.
"Past Lives"
Past Lives is about this one time that I actually went back into a past life of my own. It actually happened many times. Once I was a man but I thought that it would be a bit weird to write about that. So I wrote it about a person loving someone so much that they think they loved each other in a past life. Wayne Coyne helped me write and it's also indie.
"Supernatural"
This track was produced by DR Luke and Calvin Harris, It electron/pop, dance and EDM. Bonnie McKee helped me write it. It's about this one time that I had a sexual experience with a ghost. I was at home alone, convinced that the house was haunted, and I was right. I was falling asleep and then he came.
"Last Goodbye"
I wrote Last Goodbye with Ellie Goulding. It's about someone I fell in love with when I was very young. He helped me when I was poor and always stuck by me. We had to break up and I was heartbroken when I found out that he had moved on. It samples Last Goodbye on Ellie Goulding's album Animal. It's kinda mid-tempo pop but it has some indie influence.
"Come Alive"
Come alive is like a dark EDM song. It's about this one person that makes out fell like you're alive. I only actually felt like that twice in my life.
"Don't Cry"
This is the longest song on Gladiator. It was originally meant to feature Elli Goulding but then that went up to over 6 minutes. My label told me to make it shorter so I had to cut her part out. The song is almost 5 minutes long but Ellie still helped with the making of it. It's a ballad about losing a loved one.
"Only Wanna Dance With You
Only Wanna Dance With You is a pop/rock song about meeting someone out side 7/11 and falling in love. It's about only wanting to be with that person.
"True Love"
The title is really self explanatory. I made the song with Katy Perry, it was produced by Dr Luke and a couple of other people.
"Out Alive (David Guetta Remix)"
Basically a remix of Out Alive produced by David Guetta. It's 22 seconds shorter than the original.
"Gold Trans Am"
Gold Trans Am is the car that I used to sleep in when I was broke. It's about picking guys up and taking them inside the car. The car represents my hoo haa (idk how to spell it). It's another pop/rock song.
"Booty Call"
Booty Call is about meeting a guy and knowing that he's gonna be your booty call. It's a fun pop song written by myself and Bonnie McKee.
"Thinking Of You"
This is one of my favorite songs from Gladiator. It has some rock influence. It's about thinking of an ex and hearing our song on the radio. I then remember that I'm famous now and my song is being played on the radio.
"Loud"
Loud is the perfect song to dance to, It's EDM. At first it's about remembering a relationship but then it's about not giving a s*** and felling the loudness of the music.
"Love Into The Light"
I really loved this song so my label decided to put it on the iTunes edition. The song is about loving yourself for who you are and spreading the love to others.
"Young Blood"
I'll let you figure it out for yourself.
S: Thanks Ke$ha, That was really detailed and now if the fans are wondering what the songs mean, they can just find out here.
K: No problem
S: I believe you're also going to appear on the Voice of the North Pole tonight.
K: Yes, and then sadly, I'll be leaving. I really enjoyed my stay though.
S: Don't forget to buy Ke$ha's album Gladiator in your local store!

Sis
Lemme tell you that I've submitted for two awards, not for all, because that wouldn't be logical, and it's not my problem that I ended up winning both of them.

(300) Ke$ha on The Voice Of The North Pole
Ke$ha had just gone onto the Ms Seal show a few hours ago and gave a track-by-track review of her album Gladiator.
Yesterday she judged on the North Pole's Got Talent and sang her newest single Supernatural there and on the X Factor of the North Pole.
Both performance had Kris Kringle in it. He danced on stage with elves.
Ke$ha just arrived in the arena where the Voice of the North Pole is being held.
Many paparazzis are taking photos of her. She enters the make-up room.
Her lead single Cold Hands has peaked at #4 on the WW charts and she's going all over the world promoting her newest single Supernatural and her album Gladiator.
She leaves the room looking beautiful. The make-up is light and her hair almost goes down to her waist.
She's backstage now, ready to perform. The show begins in 5 minutes...
The stage is dark. Smoke slowly appears and covers the whole stage. Footsteps are heard and the smoke quickly disappears.
It's complete quiet now. Ke$ha is seen wearing dark blue jeans, a white s-shirt and a black jumper.
She picks up an acoustic guitar and plays the instrumental in the middle of the stage.
The walls are covered in paint and a large screen is hanging in the middle.
On the screen it says the words Supernatural and Ke$ha.
Ke$ha sings the first chorus and continues until the verse.
The dancers come out as soon as the second chorus starts.
The music quickly switched back to the original and Ke$ha dances and sings at the same time.
She only dances during the bridge and only sings during the second verse.
Ke$ha does both for the last chorus. The performance was amazing.

SELENA PERFORMS ON THE VOICE
Selena Gomez released a brand new single that has caused much stir and popularity for her. ‘His Diamond’, produced by urban producers M.I.A., British rapper and producer (Paper Planes, Bad Girls), and Nate ‘Danja’ Hills (Britney Spears, Beyonce). Selena made the debut performance of the middle eastern influenced song at the award show for debuts on the Saturday that has just passed. With a grand production and lots of fabric, including burqas, the performance was met with positive reception, or acclaim some would like to say. Critics said that there was massive ‘potential’ to be come one of the best performers in the industry today. Selena gave another amazing performance of the song on the The Voice US tonight.
The production and set up for the performance was very visual. The stage lit up a soft pink as dancers filled the stage in burqas, acting as if in they were fright or in a rush as they waved flags of pink in the air as thunder silenced the entire place. The sound of a horses hooves hitting the stage blasted over the speakers as Selena rode out on a white horse, wearing a pink Arabian outfit, the flowy pants pink and a bra that matched that had rhinestones embroidered on them. She wore a pink veil with a crown of pink roses a top her head. She halted the horse and stared out at the women in men in their burqas and thawbs. Two men in black thawbs came to help her down from the horse as she stared seductively in the men’s eyes while singing the first verse of the song in a head microphone. The men were attractive as one got behind Selena and the other in front, as they grinded to the beat before she pushed them away and they joined her to dance the pre-chorus. They did some very illusional type of dancing before a few of the men in the white thawbs joined her and the men to do the choreography during the bridge. The second verse called for just Selena on the stage. As she did a signal to either side of the stage and two horses ran in the opposite direction of each other, one behind her and the other in front. The women in the burqas then moved their way to the front to do the same dance routines Selena did with the male dancers. The bridge called for the spotlight as Selena sang the bridge flawlessly in Arabic and in acapella before she broke out in the bridge breakdown. She finished the performance with a bunch of dancers flying on pink fabric from the ceiling, a male dancer carrying her with him up to the ceiling before it ended.
