Kanye seems to have gotten cornier ever since he hooked up with Kim. It's as though she sucked the creativity right out of him.

Bitch there's a difference between throwback tracks coming on the radio and an entire radio station only playing old tracks.

That's the reason why Power 105 are consistently demolishing Hot 97 in the ratings, although Hot 97 IS Hip-Hop & the impact they have is undeniable.

Isn't Hot 97 supposed to be a Rhythmic station? What kind of lies? Their playlist isn't very "rhythmic." I just think they pull in higher ratings than most urban stations and ratings like a rhythmic station, so some sources list it as "rhythmic."

They play Pop music for like an hour a day. And its always the same mix. They play Locked Out of Heaven, Justin Timberlake, maybe a LMFAo , a Guetta track and ends with Rihanna. Believe it or not, DJ Envy on Power 105 plays more Pop music than Hot 97. At least, from what I gather from listening when I can,

It's techincally a rhythmic station, and Mediabase officially considers it one, but it's been through various format changes from Urban to Rhythmic over the last 15 years.

I always listen to Power 105 on iHeartRadio throughout the whole day on my iPhone while doing my daily routine, and I can say Hot 97 is more Urban formatted than them, only because they're consistently hitting it with the 90s - mid-2000's Hip-Hop.

I ate a lot of mints when I was... 16, but I have since cut back as I no longer have the time or money to keep up such a habit. (in this economy who does!)
