This would never happen, Christina's normal way of doing things is to release an upbeat single first then the second single is usually a Ballad since Stripped. However This hasn't worked in her favor since then, not even for Back to Basics and is yet to learn this. The next single is guaranteed to be a "Sia" ballad which is set to tank.. Sia's ballads as much as i love them are not commercial and do nothing but damage to the success of her albums. I personally think she should cancel the release date of the album if Your Body is unable to be saved and hold it for a while longer. As there will not be any type of foundation for the album to stand on and she will be busy for the next 2 to 3 months with "The Voice". It will only fail as much as Bionic and cause her career and status to be Questioned.
I know I'm going to be accused of trolling, but I think we simply need to lower our expectations for Christina.
We hold her to the same success standard as Gaga, Britney and Katy and then expect her to perform the same as them commercially. Which really isn't fair to her. She's simply not on that tier of fanbase and instant #1 smashes -- her success is completely case-by-case.

It was successful with Back To Basics. Hurt was a top twenty single in the U.S. and reached the top ten in many European countries, including hitting #1 in Switzerland.
Ok, at this point I'm here for QUALITY, not sales. If she can bring us a GREAT album, then I'm more than fine with that, even if it's gonna be a commercial flop. After the "Bionic" era I'm really ready for everything.
