I really do wonder if this could have been at least a moderate hit if the chorus wasn't so annoying. I feel like everyone just bandwagon hated this song. Don't get me wrong, it's not great. But it didn't deserve the reaction it got when it's still better than half of some pop girls' discographies, which don't get nearly as much hate.

This was not a flop at all. I mean...almost certification everywhere, great streams (+500 million views on YT)...
And the song is also not bad at all. I don't get the people hate for this song.
It's weird how this is worse than literally every song on DW but was still supposed to be the lead single. It makes you wonder what the quality of the original "Moonlight" album was and how much was recorded from November-March. I can't imagine them picking this if she had already recorded DW, Into You, Touch It, Side to Side, and Bad Decisions.
