It only counted 2 days of the songs airplay, and no sales counted (sales tracking ended before it was released I think).
So the fact she almost made Hot 100 off of less than 48 hours of airplay!
It's already peaked higher than Almost Home and Triumphant, and when it charts above #100 next week it will chart higher than Oh Santa! and Up Out My Face.
Mess, I heard "Shake It Off" on the radio yesterday. My momma was bopping, still remembering every lyric.
But that's the 2nd Mariah song I've heard since #Beautiful was released, (Fantasy before) and neither been the new single ofcourse. And before those 2 I hadn't heard her in months.
When you see 'XXXXXX song has 70.00 Million Airplay Impressions'... that means during the last 7 DAYS it had an accumulative Audience of 70.00 Million.
Which means that every day for the past week it has had 10.00 Million AI per day.
Once we hit the 8th day, we have to take those 10M AI from day 1 (coz its already out of the last 7 days of monitoring) and add the audience from day 8 to those other 6 days from the previous week that are still inside the last 7 days of that song.
And before those 2 I hadn't heard her in months.
