Just wanted to add my two cents again and say that I think atheists can be hypocritical in that they claim religion has no proof of the existence of a god, but yet atheists do not have evidence to prove otherwise either So essentially what I am trying to say is that atheists get mad over religious people for believing in something, but yet they are doing what they supposedly hate

Personally I find God to be a man-made creation, look at all the religions who had multiple human-like Gods or just worshipped nature and attributed personalities to the wind or fire. The Abrahamic God anyway seems quite illogical to me.

most atheists get mad when religious people use their religion to excuse their behavior. when was the last time you heard an atheist claim that homosexuality is wrong because a book told them so lol

I don't talk for all atheists, but I, for one, believe in what can scientifically exist and I personally do not believe it is possible. And if it were possible, I feel there would be a centralized religion.

I personally am not against religion, I'm just against religious bigots.

We do not get mad @ people for believing I mean, I think a lot of he Bible stories are just glorified myths but you do you! What bothers me is people trying to impose their beliefs in the general population, such as advocating for the teaching of creationism or discriminating gays

The paradox of evil alone defeats the whole concept of the Christian God. That's my biggest issue, on the surface at least. I won't pretend I am knowledgeable about cosmogony, I am not. But I prefer people who tried to understand it scientifically instead of through the Bible

Except they don't "get mad" at all . The burden of proof for extraordinary claims is on the person making them. I have no evidence to disprove unicorns either, but I believe in neither.


Actually, unicorns are actually a lot more believable concept then an invisible all powerful being that knows the past, present, future and controls the world
