Daydream is an album I remember loving when it first came out, but now I think like half of it is a little basic. There are of course standouts, but the second half is kinda slow.

Daydream means a lot to me. It's the first Mariah album I heard and loved and it reminds me of my early childhood so much.
But I agree with you. It's a really great album but it does have a few basic songs (Open Arms for example).
