More likely than not, the counter at the moment is nowhere near up to date. It has 666k+ likes at the moment, and to compare, let's use Britney's latest video.

Not saying it'll have 3x that views, but the fact it has almost a million likes in one day means the view count has to be just GIGANTIC.
So, to answer your question, we'll just have to wait for VEVO to officially confirm the amount (most likely through a tweet)
