I don't think so. When they played Paper Planes by M.I.A. a lot of the time they kept the gunshots in. Unfaithful came out years ago, things have definitely changed a bit since then, but we'll have to wait and see.

I was thinking that if they could censor out the name of the game in that one song, without GaGa going into any more detail about it, they could do the same with Rihanna. The lyrics of "Russian Roulette" go into somewhat meticulous detail.

i doubt it... the only thing really worth sensoring is the gunshot at the end, and that is already being sensored, understandably.....

I also wonder if when they premiere the video on ABC if they edit some of the lyrics out cuz when they premiered Womanizer they editied the suana parts and if she performs it on award shows and morning shows like GMA I wonder if they edit parts out too. That's why I don't understand why ABC wants to premiere the video and GMA wants her to perform the song cuz they'll screw it up by editing alot of the parts out.

i dont really think so beacuse.....what would they really edit out?? the song is called RR, but she's not really saying any one thing thats censorable, as much as shes describing an entire situattion that would otherwise be cenored.

and i can see them getting around the gunshot being censored (if they desire to) at the live performance by making it a little theatrical, by mixing in some visual like fire/sparks/ or some kind of explosion so you get the effect, but its not so "direct"
