I was expecting 100k actually. It's not terrible news at all, Afrodisiac sold 103k in it's first week.

We know the posibilities of Human to reach platinum are minimum. Gold is not a flop though and it's reachable for her.

With RH(D) not reaching the top 50 before it's release the low numbers were expected but the album is flawless and i can hold it in my hands and that's all i care XD.

As for the haters, even if she had sold 800k in its first week they were still gonne be here acting dumb so there's no difference. ATRL has been known for bashing everyone you might like so it's part of how this boards work.

and many others.

And actually Brandy has still hopes since RH(D) is doing well on radio and she started good promo so the album could pick up.

Monica's "Everytime the beat drop" couldnt reach the top 50
And Toni just got to bubbling under with "Please".

This is really sad. With all the promoting she's doing, she can't get a single in the Top 50 nor sell 100k with an album that's releasing during the holiday's? I wonder what her sells would be without the holiday boost...I'm hoping this keeps steady because it doesn't really deserve to flop.

I wonder if Normal remembers who Ashanti is now?

1.) The single is still increasing, it will probably make a nice jump within the next two weeks.

2.) HOPEFULLY the album remains a consistent seller. A lot of the stores that were selling out only had 10-15 copies. That plus the Wal*Mart fiasco (a reallly sad case), probably isn't helping the sales either. They probably only shipped like 130k across the US.

3.) The album isn't done yet. We all know she messed up by putting out the singles she did, and catering to the Urban audience way more than the Pop audience. Epic should know better.

She'll be lucky to hit 200k with the holidays, let alone GOLD, LD is going nowhere so far and if it doesn't pick up you can almost count on the album falling off the chart, then the third single is WIU (WL)...WOW, I'm so sorry for her.

The girl who sold more than Brandy in non-hoilday day sales.

RH(D) is the best single choice on the album. They should have released 1&L or PM as the second.

Actually she said it'll either be "1st and Love" or "True" in a recent interview. A poll on her myspace is in the works
