now that i think of it, danity kane only selling 2,000 more albums than their previous one really is a big deal because as time goes on it becomes harder and harder to sell albums.. so idk what the proportion from then to now would be, but in reality they would have sold many more than 2,000 2 years ago.

I met Danity Kane on Friday, well just 4/5 because Aubrey wasn't there. They just stood on stage and played alot of their old + new tracks for the club. It was hot, Shannon looked amazing =)
Shannon confirmed @ a club performance in Miami that "Bad Girl" will be the next single.
While "Bad Girl" was playing @ the cub a fan asked if it will be the 2nd single and Shannon nods yes.
You can watch it here:
Performing on Jimmy Kimmel.
Danity Kane will be performing thier hit single "Damaged" on Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday, April 16th.
Snags Second Straight No. 1 Album.
Quote:
Danity Kane's "Welcome to the Dollhouse" goes straight to the penthouse on The Billboard 200, the second No. 1 in a row for the group. The MTV "Making the Band 3" troupe, signed to Diddy's Bad Boy imprint, moved 236,000 copies of its sophomore effort in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Danity Kane's 2006 self-titled debut also started at the top, with 234,000.
It's only March, but "Dollhouse" enjoys the second-biggest sales week of the year. Only Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through the Static" had a bigger bow when it debuted at No. 1 with 375,000 in February.
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/..._id=1003741823 I'm pretty dissapointed since they did way lower than the HITS prediction and the estimated final number from HITS.
Plus they only sold 2k more than thier debut 1st weeks sales, but atleast thier # 1 ...
um why? Bad Girl is the best uptempo on the album next to Damaged
its good to release it, and keep the momentum....which is the opposite from the last album
Predictable doesn't mean I don't think it will do well, or that I don't like the song. I'm just saying it was a predictable choice to follow up "Damaged." I was hoping they'd go for "Strip Tease" or their second highest selling song on iTunes, "Lights Out." But that's just my opinion.
I'm really happy with the choice.
"Bad Girl" is my favorite track on the album. I absolutely love Missy's part for some reason. She better be in the video.
Oh and for those of you who don't know the planned singles are:
i can see bad girl doing well.. its got a great tune and people will love that missy is in it as well.
striptease as a 3rd single would be amazingggggg!
Good They're actually picking the right singles off of this CD so far, I'd like to see them wait a little bit for this release, as Damaged is just starting to really take off at radio, but as soon as that starts to die down, Bad Girl should be shipped out right away
