How is this impressive?
Justin came back from a 7 year break and managed to scan almost a million in his first week. If anything, Miley's numbers should have been bigger with all the hype and promo she had.
GaGa is on par and is currently fairing much better than Miley in both the US and WW. GaGa will sell more singles and albums with ARTPOP than Miley will with Bangerz and I'm pretty sure GaGa doesn't have to worry about having an audience for her next tour.
The fact that you guys expected Miley to pull Hip-Hop or Country stars first week sales off negative publicity amazes me every time I read this non-sense
Last time I checked both We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball sold more than Applause, and Do What U Want doesn't really scream "smash hit" either
Not to mention that insiders say that Miley's tour pre-sales are even better than Miley's own team expected
This is truly disappointing. Gaga, if you're reading this, somethings gotta change. People don't want to be challenged by the thought of art and pop culture while they are getting their groove on. They just want to shake their asses. Focus on making great pop music, because that is when you stand out as a true artist.
