I'm not calling this a stunt, but tweeting that "shot in the head" thing was really too much. Her reaction was handled poorly, you don't need to announce your 40M followers that you're having this kind of situation. Her security team and police are the only ones who could really help her, not her fans.
I think she only said that to try to make people realize just how serious this was to her — that she was uncomfortable. I don't think she was implying that he wanted to kill her. She was probably emotional and had to say it.

There are people out there who have actual stalkers who have threatened to do horrible things to their victims. Those people will never go outside anymore, too scared for their own lives.

No one knows what is actually going on behind the scenes, so you can all shut the **** up about whether or not Gaga's reaction is warranted. You know if this was going on with YOUR faves, you'd be on their side, but you're all just obsessed with hating on Gaga for any reason. Get a ****ing life you dumb *****.
There's a reason so many celebrities have breakdowns (NOT that Gaga is, sheesh), so if Gaga feels like this situation is serious, then you're not in a position to say it's not.
Though I suspect the reason it's "serious" is that she maybe already has a restraining order against him? So she'd want to make sure he gets in trouble.

Anyway, if it were indeed a publicity stunt, it would've taken 20 seconds to write a tweet with location embedded saying he's in LA. Instead, he has said nothing about it, possibly because it's true.
And it would requiere Perez even less to bring down the stunt
Who is to say he's not a part of it? He also gains from this. Even if he was there her tweet was beyond melodramatic considering that she was friends with him while he was doing the most for other celebs.
