Look at these movie songs that are hits like "Happy", "Can't Stop The Feeling", "Just Like Fire" etc.
At the end of the day people will either say it was a hit or a flop. And the fact that this song will serve for a good cause should make it even more easy to chart well + Christina hasn't released music in YEARS.
Of course we can't judge the future of a song in two days but it's still free falling everywhere in the world, that's a fact. If y'all HONESTLY don't care about the charts then it's great, I'm not saying this is what's more important.

I was talking about 'lead singles' because the way you referred to the song's chart performance sounded like it was one of a lead single, therefore the worrying about its first week sales.
This is not a song meant to do well on the charts, this is a song she decided to release last week (!!!) to raise some money for those who need it. She didn't think about its chart performance or its longevity, nor she promoted it anywhere. She just tweeted a link about it, that's it. If she was around doing promo, then I'd be saying 'well, it should do better'. But this is not the case.
The songs you mentioned of course are doing well on the charts, because they were released to do so. They're commercial pop songs, heavily promoted too. Unlike Change.
The 'oh it's freefalling!!! it won't chart well!!!' stuff is not meant for something like this.
