People keep talking about Kelly Rowland when Rihanna is the one that basically started this dance trend for the black girls. S.O.S, Don't Stop the Music. Disturbia. Those came out before it was the IN thing to do. I'll agree Rihanna should move on from dance since she's been giving us dance tracks since 2006 but don't discredit her for something she's been doing first. People will give ANYONE credit before they give Rihanna her's.

It was released here in Canada, which is somewhat intangled with US (for most US stuff.) But not in the US, so. :P
I think the difference between this song and others are the vocals.
They are clearly there, and powerful, not as edited as Ke$ha, but not as raw as Russian Roulette.
For Rihanna, its very different & new, and I dont think its generic for her.
It may sound generic, but all Top 40 music is.
