Oh, guess I overlooked that.

I find it so odd that he can lightening bend so effortlessly while someone like Zuko, who I consider to be significantly better than him, had not mastered it at his age.

But Zuko had an internal conflict that made him unable to lightening bend...so I guess it all woks out.

Gorls did we NOT call it 3 weeks ago that blood bending would come back into the show? I'm extremely pressed that Korra lost yet another fight, but she had him point blank. She was going in for the KILL. Next episode will be about Korra talking to Aang. And I think they're gonna explain these flashbacks and what they mean. Y'all saw how Sokka, Toph, and Aang were being blood bended right? So excited to see how this unfolds. Only 2 more episodes and then the season finale though.

I KNEW Tarlock was messy. Did you see his reaction when she compared him to Amon? Maybe he got scared that she was catching on to him. Maybe he's an equalists. I don't think he's Amon because their voices aren't that similar (but if he really is I will facepalm cause that's so predictable). I love the slowly building tension between Asami and Korra. When she side glanced Korra when Mako helped her into the vehicle. Bitch. The only thing I really want from this series now is Korra to go into the Avatar state and Tenzin to show off his bending. I can't believe I'm saying this, but this show is miles better than the first 2 seasons of Avatar The Last Airbender, and gives the 3rd season a run for its money. Sorry Aang.

Times have changed. The days of "The Last Airbender" are over. All benders have made advances. Bloodbending and Metalbending were not heard of when TLA took place. Now the whole police force knows Metalbending, and it seems Turrlock, his father and their triad know bloodbending very well.

Lightenbending can be used by any skilled Firebender at this point it seems.

The fact that there are no more specialized techniques that make certain characters individually special is tad disheartening.

I don't mind much, because it seems logical to me that as their world progresses in technology and culture, so, too, do the skills of the average bender. You see the same thing in our world as well with many things such as average intelligence raising with time.

if you think about it the thing that the sherlock homes guy says kinda makes sense, I was wondering too why Katara hadn't appeared in any of the flashbacks, I think she did find a way to bloodbend without a full moon too and THAT'S why she's still alive in this series, to help Korra with that
