This is ******** and completely subjective.
If anything Rihanna's actions are guided by what people are complaining she IS doing...not by what she isn't doing. If people are complaining she's "too this or too that"..it's only making her want to do it more. That's how she's always been.
Maybe you should be positive and stop whining.
And a as a side note..who exactly do you think you are that you have any sort of authority to assert "what direction" you think she should be going in. Last time I checked ...SHE was the artist and determines that however she feels. From a purely artistic perspective there is no "right or wrong way". If its how she's feeling then why would you want her to do something that isn't authentic to her current self?
