Synopsis
The last song of the rate to miss the half way point is The Knife's "You Take My Breath Away". It was a single from their sophomore effort, Deep Cuts. The song features upbeat electronics with an undertone of carribean-like synths, which occurs on many of their Deep Cuts tracks. The song also has something about it that isn't strange for The Knife, hidden meanings. The lyrics, especially toward the end of the song, talk about sex. I don't know about you, but I certainly missed that when I was listening to the song. Two different music videos were shot for it and it managed to chart in the UK, peaking at #90.

What are you talking about? "Heartbeats", "Silent Shout", and "Pass This On" are still here.

I can understand that. "Heartbeats" should win this.

But I love "Pass This On" though. It's sort of sexy. I love how the opening line is "I'm in love... with your brother".

Miike Snow's final stop on our countdown is with "The Rabbit". It was the final single from their debut, self-titled album and it doesn't look like it charted anywhere. The music video and even some of the lyrics are very odd, I don't even want to begin to explain it.

I thought they were decent, some songs were really good, like "Black & Blue".

Others were just bland. They just don't have as strong of a point of view as some of the other artists. And I guess ATRL wasn't here for an all dick act. And yes, Agnes still has "Release Me" and "On And On" left. She's managed to fly under the radar.
