I think Rihanna is a very underrated vocalist. Her problem is that she doesn't have a lot of range, so she can't reach the high and impressive notes that other singers can nor can she belt for a long time. But she handles the low notes pretty well. When she's in her comfort zone, she displays adequate control and lately signs of agility and skills as well.

Rihanna is a 7. She has a decent amount of talent, I just don't think she's ever taken the time to work closely with a vocal coach and really hone her skill and work with what she has. She would be pretty solid with a better technique
