I'm so glad this thread is active again. People were complaining about us in NHB for discussing Madonna in SYG too much. Now we have a place to call home to discuss the Queen.
well MDNA wasn't rushed I think, and I can't tell that Hard Candy era was better cause I wasn't then for Madonna, shame on me
I love American Life for personal reasons, but Confessions is a masterpiece for me,every track is so considered and the transition between them,it's a masterpiece, you can clearly say that they all beolng to that album, and they wouldn't fit everywhere

I like "American Life" because of it being the last album she really bothered about ballads (the okay "Falling Free" being an exception). "Easy Ride" is one of her best closers IMO and "Nobody Knows Me" is amazing too. Especially the performance on Re-Invention is impressive (bar her lip-syncing).
Confessions is my favorite, most-played Madonna album ever.
Anyway, on MDNA, my favorite tracks would have to be "Love Spent" and "Some Girls".
I like the way this era is going so far. It might not have huge album sales, but she got a top 10 hit in the US and she now has 42 Dance #1 hits (soon to be 43 with TUTR). Plus the tour is going even better than I expected. I think it has a good shot at outgrossing the S&S Tour.
Hard Candy was alright, there's a decent number of songs I like on it - "4 Minutes", "Miles Away", "Heartbeat", "She's Not Me"...
I didn't witness it first hand, but the Confessions era mostly put me to sleep and is highly overrated, especially by her newer fans. The tour is amazing, though.
American Life and Erotica remain tied for her best eras. Social/Politicaldonna >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Discodonna. She's at her best when she makes people think. Also the brunette hair.
I want to hear the original "Devil". Or at least one of the first demo's. On HC it feels too much like a random poem Timbaland stole out of her notebook and decided to ruin it by reproducing his "Loose"/"FutureSex" sound. It deserved so much better.

It was based off an idea of Madonna's though.
And I actually like the production. It's good.
