I don't think I have to look deep into this thread to guess that someone brought up some bull "cultural appropriation" claim, didn't they? I don't think we've had a major Korean star in the US in like...forever?
They need to not.

Mess @ everyone acting so clueless about this. Nobody in this thread has accused her of cultural appropriation. However, being Korean does not give her a free pass for using Hip-Hop culture. Now I'm not here to attack her cos I stan for Iggy, but it's necessary to explain the situation.
I was the one who brought up SJWs and when I did that, I was not referring to this new song/video specifically. My discussion was with Superbitch and on the implication of CL becoming properly famous in the US. If she was to have a hit, that's when SJWs would begin to notably attack her. Not now with her soundcloud buzz song furthermore, this video is actually very pro-female empowerment and I love the message it gives. But her video for The Baddest Female is prime cultural-appropriation and if CL gets famous that is where she'll get criticized, presumably along with other stuff that I don't know about - e.g. this post

Once again, don't come @ me angrily cos I love my girl CL. Just laying out the facts for y'all.
I read that when she says He wants me to luh him love time and I tell him no! shes actually fighting the asian stereotypes from an old movie where two guys are gonna pick up an asian prostitute and she goes like I'll love you long time.
