The next song to leave before the top ten is none other than The New Workout Plan, a satirical song in which Kanye talks about how women are only valued for their bodies, and work out in an effort to “pull a rapper, an NBA player, man, at least a dude with a car.”
All I'll say for this song is if you know someone who truly hates Kanye but has never listened to any of his music besides his hit singles, tell them to listen to this and read the lyrics. I guarantee it'll change their outlook on him.
Taken as a satire, which it is, you must admit it’s a bop

The breakdown is one of my favourite moments in The College Dropout! It kinda foretells the creative possibilities of Kanye West. You have the Eastern Europe style going on with the strings which transitions into an electro-funk number and builds around handclaps and chanting. And the content of the song - "dumbed down" or not - brilliantly highlights issues that fall under the main theme of the album. It's a hit or miss with most but I love it.
So I'm going to do things differently for the top ten. I unfortunately won't be revealing any scores since I had very little time to do the scores for tracks 15-11, however, I am switching things up by using the videos for the songs as opposed to the Spotify link to add some visuals. Hope that makes up for the lack of scores somewhat.

I forgot to mention the lyrics:
That's right, put in work
Move your ass, go berserk
Eat your salad, no dessert
Get that man you deserve
It's Kanye's workout plan
"Tell her: I'm your man, you're my girl. I'm gonna tell it to the whole wide world"
Giving the Ye lashing a rest, the first track to go in our top ten is U Got It Bad, one of Usher's many classic hit singles.
When you got it bad you’re simply and overly in love. Being in love makes you do a whole lot of things you wouldn’t do if you weren’t in love. Constantly calling your lover to know how they’re doing and just to hear their voice is one of them, as Usher stresses here as well as elsewhere in the song. Easily one of the best tracks on the album. The guitar solo towards the end (after the hook after the second verse) is iconic . Thought this would be Usher's highest charting track . Nonetheless, a top ten finish is more than respectable for this track .
