Her uptempos are still great but they're never radio friendly. This isn't 2006.

I'm Out was in the low 40s and climbing during the BET while Body Party was still #1. If her and the label had pushed the song once Body Party was falling, it wouldn't have flopped.

Gimmie Dat definitely wasn't radio friendly but that fact that her label to DJs NOT to play it makes it even worse. Where did it peak at on radio?

Her last radio-friendly uptempo that got handled properly was back in the Fantasy Ride era (Love Sex Magic). Once her and the label are on the same page, her uptempos will smash on radio again just like her midtempos do.

Thats exactly the way i was thinking the other day! Seriously. They were very clever about this.. Now if they release to iTunes, amazon etc asap, produce an amazingly beautiful video, promote the **** out of it - it will certainly do as well as Body Party and if the initial streaming and reception is anything to go by it could do even better..

I remember one day "love sex magic" was gaining a lot of spins on top 40/mainstream (something like 700) and the next week felt like a rock

It was a top 10 just for a week and it charted on hot 100 just a few weeks o.o (something like that happened to "hold it against me"), but why? Can you explain me?
