for bulletproof 100% certainty i guess we´ll have to wait till someone got the clip with sound...but she said nothing about a spanish record as far as i know.
thing is, she has been a longtime fan of björk´s music and wanted to collaborate with her, and timbaland is working with björk a lot on her upcoming album, so maybe that´s a hint?....just speculating...

ok now, i was a little quick jumping to conclusions; here´s the clip WITH sound, and she´s just saying "there´s gonna be a whole different look, and a whole different theme (sound) for the next record".

She's taking risk for another theme again?
I hope its gonna be great, and I'm quite sure that the new album wouldnt be released in next 2-3 years.

Nah thats the problem. Xtina isnt a type of artist that released album in a quick way, there has to be like, 2-3 years for break, so I wouldnt be surprised if it would be released around 2009. *although its wayyyyy too long*

i guess it depends alot on if she want to build a family when this era is done, and if she will act in a movie...we´ll have to wait and see, although, as you said, we always have to wait sooo long..

She's going to be realising maaany singles off Back to Basics. I mean; it's a double album. Only releasing 3 would suck hardcore. Not that you implied that.
But she takes a long time, agreed.

Aguilera happy about Juno nom
By JANE STEVENSON -- Sun Media
Pop star Christina Aguilera was excited to find out she and Hamilton-raised Floria Sigismondi had been nominated for a best video Juno yesterday as co-directors of Hurt, the second single from Aguilera's latest album, Back To Basics.
"Oh, that's wonderful," said Aguilera when informed by Sun Media during a teleconference interview yesterday.
Aguilera, who previously worked with Sigismondi on the video, Fighter, from her second record, Stripped, says the collaboration inspired her to work with the director again on the vintage circus-inspired Hurt.
"She got my vision for it," Aguilera said of Sigismondi.
"She's so creative and outstanding and I always have a great time working with her.
"That was the first video that I'd ever stepped up to the plate to literally co-direct. I'd always been very opinionated. I'd always voiced my ideas and what not in my videos but this one was the first one I actually took credit for in co-directing."
Sadly, Aguilera -- whose Back To Basics tour pulls into the Air Canada Centre on March 25 -- is unable to attend the Junos on April 1.
"I think I'll be on tour in the States at that time -- right in the middle of it. God I would love to go, though," she said.

big news ahead:
this is from billboard.com
"I'm already exploring new ideas for what the next look is and what the next sound will be, which I'm really excited about," Aguilera said on a conference call yesterday (Feb. 6). "I have to put it on the back burner and finish with the tour, but I definitely have ideas for the next (project)."
But, she added, "I can't give away what they are. There always has to be that element of surprise and really giving my audience something to be excited about for next time. What I can tell you is, yeah, I am extremely driven. It'll always be inside of me to keep that focus ... of bettering myself and constantly evolving and changing and seeing what the next time has to offer."
Aguilera did let on that she does have acting ambitions. "Like music, it's another art form I want to take seriously," she explained. "I've been reading scripts and whatnot. I want to make sure it's the right role and, if I want to act, to do just that, not just play myself as a singer."
she also says that she´s gonna perform "a never before performed song" at the grammys on sunday!! many people p/d it to be "mercy on me", the song with the killlerrr vocals!!

WOW... What song could it be??? Candyman would've been perfect since she's going to release it as a single... she makes weird choices sometimes... I'm just happy she'll be performing.

FOR REAL?! If she does Mercy On Me, then she really listened to her fans. That would be great. But I also see her doing Back In The Day. I hope she can squeeze CandyMan performance somewhere in the show.
And I would really like to see a close-up of that CandyMan cover. It definitely looks interesting.
